The Gamma Quadrant. Once a mystery to the Federation, now accessible by way of the Bajoran wormhole. This "gateway" of promise, exploration and opportunity has also been a source of conflict for more than a decade. The Dominion stands on the other side of this wormhole, believing that we are the inferior "solids." And this is Task Force 9's home, and where its commanding officers and crews step in.

Task Force 9 is Bravo Fleet's, and Starfleet's, first steps back across the wormhole into the Gamma Quadrant since the Dominion War ended. Colonization has resumed, trade is beginning to flow through the wormhole once more, and Task Force 9 has been tasked with both administrating and defending those who are there as well as continuing to explore the Gamma Quadrant, following the motto of "boldly going where no man has gone before."

Currently under command of Major General Rolf Emerson and Rear Admiral Michael Stryfe , Task Force 9 plunges into any danger in order to protect Federation citizens and holdings. The Task Force operates from Iconia Colony as Headquarters, a colony on the barren wastelands of Idran III. They take on any problem with the loyalty and dedication that only a Starfleet crew can bring.
