Welcome to Task Force 9

The Gamma Quadrant. Once ruled for millennia by the Dominion, now it appears to be somewhat at peace. The Treaty of Bajor brought an end to the war, and peace between the Dominion and the Federation.

Starfleet's presence in the Gamma Quadrant, initially limited to New Bajor, is growing albeit slowly. With the expansion of the New Bajor planetary compound to include a Regulus class Starbase in orbit to help coordinate the ever growing number of Starfleet assets in the area, this makes Deep Space 11 the new hub of Starfleet in the Gamma Quadrant.

There are clouds on the horizon. There is a darkness is coming, something that will shake Task Force 9 and the Gamma Quadrant to its very core.

There are rumors that we are corrupt...
There are rumors that we have lost control of the Wormhole…
There are rumors that Task Force 9 can not be trusted…

Promotions: - The USS Katana is pleased to announce the promotion of Chief Flight Controller Hayley Collins to rank of full Lieutenant - We would also like to announce that Chief Petty Officer Andrea Carter will be officially assuming the position of Chief of Operations. New Crew - The USS Katana warmly welcomes our newest additions to the crew: Lieutenant Commander Cameron Tegan as First Officer, Lieutenant Bridget O'Connor as Assistant Chief Science Officer (Language Specialist), and Lieutenant JG Visari Ifarr as Medical Officer/Surgeon!

We're ramping up for our third mission and I'm pleased to announce that we have a new CAG, Lt. George Bridger, and a new Counselor, Dr. Avery Stuart! We still have some open positions, including Chief Science Officer and plenty of Junior Officer & Enlisted Positions! Come on by!
